- Avoid blood thinners for 7 days prior (aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E, fish oil,
ginkgo, and herbal supplements) - Confirm with your physician before stopping any prescribed medications
- Avoid alcohol for 48–72 hours before treatment
- Begin Arnica and/or Bromelain 2 days prior to reduce bruising and swelling
- If you have cold sores or open wounds at the treatment site, your appointment will be rescheduled
- Stop Retin-A or glycolic products 2 days prior; resume 2 days post-treatment
