NakedMD to Sponsor MPAK’s 12th Annual Fundraising Gala ‘Together We Dream’

The Aesthetics and Med Spa brand will serve as presenting sponsor for the non-profit organization’s annual event at the Vea Newport Beach

NakedMD announced on September 22, 2026 that it will serve as presenting sponsor of the 12th Annual MPAK Fundraising Gala, ‘Together We Dream’, held Saturday, September 26 at Vea Newport Beach. MPAK — Mission to Promote Adoption of Kids — was founded in 1999 by Korean adoptee Steve Morrison and operates 28 regional support groups across Korea and six in the United States.

NakedMD, the leading aesthetics and wellness brand in the U.S., today announced its sponsorship of the 12th Annual MPAK Fundraising Gala on Saturday, September 26th. MPAK (Mission to Promote Adoption of Kids) is dedicated to bringing positive change to the Korean adoption culture and advocating for the needs of homeless children across Korea and China. This annual event serves as the organization's flagship fundraiser, galvanizing support and spotlighting a critical issue impacting so many.

MPAK was founded by Steve Morrison in 1999, an adoptee who spent eight years in a Korean orphanage before being welcomed into a U.S. family. There are 28 regional MPAK support groups throughout Korea, with six in the U.S. (LA, Valley, OC, NY/NJ, San Diego, and Georgia).

“MPAK focuses on reaching out to the orphan with a one-on-one education. It takes me back to a time when I had wished someone would sit beside me, teach me directly, and help me truly understand,” says Steve Morrison, Founder of MPAK. “That experience shaped me, and it's one of the reasons I'm so committed to this work, because I know firsthand how many orphans struggle without that kind of support. Some people say there's no free lunch in life. For me, I was given free lunch and I'm always grateful.”

“The work MPAK is doing is incredibly important and has a personal connection for us and our family. We have been supporters of this organization for many years and this year we are proud to serve as the presenting sponsor,” says Justin Ha, co-Founder of NakedMD. “We are honored to bring visibility and awareness to this cause and are inspired by the work Steve Morrison and his team are doing.”

MPAK's mission is to ensure every child in the program can pursue higher education and grow into independent, employable adults who are equipped to thrive and contribute confidently to their communities.

This year's sponsors include New Connect, Modern Embroidery Incorporated, Chao Family Foundation, WorldWise Production, Binex, NIK, PCB Bank, and Open Bank.

About MPAK

MPAK (Mission to Promote Adoption of Kids) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 by Steve Morrison, a Korean adoptee who spent his early childhood homeless on the streets, and later in an orphanage for eight years before being adopted at age 14. For more than 25 years, MPAK has served as a voice for homeless children, working to shift the culture of adoption in Korea and helping thousands of children find permanent, loving homes. Today, with 28 regional support groups across Korea and six in the United States, MPAK's work has expanded beyond adoption advocacy to include serving the unadopted children in orphanages with a one-on-one mentor/tutor program called 'ICAN'. MPAK also serves the children with annual English Bible Camps in the summer at the orphanages. In the past MPAK served the orphans and vulnerable children of North Korean escapee women, the Baby Box ministry, special needs children, including the HIV positive orphans in China. Guided by the Christian principles, MPAK believes every child longs to be in a loving home. However, many more children are not given the opportunity for a home.
